Covid-19: Our response and how you can help

This year has been really challenging, and we know many people in our communities are struggling with the impact of Covid-19.

We are here to continue providing support, advice and opportunities to connect with one another.

What we’re doing

We have had to change the way we deliver our programmes, to keep us all as safe as possible and to adhere to Government guidance.

Many of our projects are now being delivered remotely - online or via the telephone. You can still get in touch with us via the usual email addresses and phone numbers, and our team will help you to understand how different projects are running, and how you can get involved.

How you can help

Support each other: We know this is a really difficult time for many people - keep taking care of yourselves and each other - call family members, friends, and neighbours to check in, and do what you can to support. Keep looking out for the kindness, positivity and community spirit that remains present!

Follow the guidance: Remember to check the latest guidance for your area. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.  For up-to-date government information and guidance relating to Covid-19 click here and for the latest NHS guidance translated into 60 languages please click here

Volunteer with us: We have many upcoming opportunities to train with us and volunteer to support your community. Find out which project you might be interested in, and the roles available, by visiting our project pages.

Fundraise for us: We really appreciate any financial support that helps us to keep offering our services and supporting local people who are isolated, facing difficulties in managing their chronic health conditions, or trying to understand what all these changes mean for themselves and their livelihood at this time.

If you’d like to donate, fundraise, or take on a personal challenge and ask for sponsorship to support our work, please visit our Just Giving page.  Thank you!
